A girlfriend of mine recently discovered a huge lump in her abdominal area while stretching, face down on the floor. After declaring that she is "healed by the stripes of Jesus" continuously (she even discovered she was saying that in her sleep), she woke up one morning soon thereafter and the lump was gone!

A member of the Victory Christian Center (victorytulsa.org) was in a terrible car accident. They had to literally cut the car open in order to get her out. This incident was just after she learned how to speak the Word, and she knew her knees were crushed, but did not say so. All she said (out loud) while they were attempting to get her out of the car was "I am healed by the stripes of Jesus; I am healed by the stripes of Jesus; my knees are fine because I am healed by the stripes of Jesus." After she was pulled out of the car, they couldn't find anything wrong with her knees. A few bruises, but no broken bones!

A young girl's sister was told that her sister was "gone" by the doctor who declared her to be dead, and the young girl refused to believe it. She said "no, my sister shall live and not die and declare the works of the Lord." At that time, her sister was not a Christian, and this young girl was the only believer in the family. By going to a spirit-filled church, she learned to speak the Word from early on in her Christianity. Here, because she declared God's Word into the situation and refused to listen to what the doctors said, her sister was revived. She was diing of a terrible disease where her fingers and limbs turn black from lack of oxygen and literally break off. She lost several fingers and toes, and even one foot and a portion of her leg, but she survived. Today, although the doctors stated that she would never walk again after reviving from what they thought was death, she is now walking with a prosthetic and declaring the works of the Lord! The Lord used her dedicated sister, who is a member of Kenneth Copeland Ministries (kcm.org), as is she.

We Are Given Authority Over Every Living Thing!

I have several of my own testimonies and experiences from walking in faith. One day, when I refused to take anything for the onset of menstral cramps, I was hurting so bad that they are all the way down to my knees. By the end of the day, I wanted to beat on my legs with both fists, they hurt so bad. Out of frustration, I yelled at them and said "pain, go away!!!" But the funny thing is, it did!!! My legs stopped hurting, but my abdomen still hurt. So I told my stomach pain to go away, with conviction (and bewilderment) in my voice, and it left me at once. Now, when my cramps try to come back during that time of the month, I don't need to take pain relief, I just tell the pain to go away. Sometimes I have to take authority in this manner a few times per day, but it always goes away! Subsequently, I discovered the reason why it worked: We were given dominion and authority over every living thing on this earth (including every living cell in our body). In other words, we can speak directly to the problem, or illness, just like Jesus did, for example, and tell the tumor to dry up, disappear and be gone! Speak to your body and tell it to be made whole by the blood of Jesus, and command it to line up with and become obedient to the Word of God.

Take communion on a daily basis - declaring that you are cleansed by the blood of Jesus, and thanking Him for it - until your body starts showing those manifestations in the here and now. It works because there is power in the Blood, combined with your faith... just as Jesus always said, "Your faith has made you whole". Speaking God's promises over your situation works because His angels harken to the voice of God, and they are His words! Until you believe what God has to say about you - in the positive - discovering what He wants to do for you in your life, we'll never know what we are fully capable of through speaking God's word - in every circumstance. Taking a Leap of Faith!

When I was under attack, and everything seemed to be going wrong with my health, the worst part of it was my ulcer which I hadn't experienced in over ten years. I don't go to the doctor for medication unless I am desperate... and the pain of this ulcer caused such desperation. After describing the pain, etc., the doctor prescribed me the strongest medication possible, and only one per day was required. However, I was in so much pain that I was taking them three times per day, or more! I am not one to take chemicals of any kind, and would do anything to avoid them. In fact, I've taken a tablespoon of cayenne pepper straight in an ounce of water order to get rid of my ulcer in the past, and it worked! One day, I went to my pantry in desperation to take my ulcer medication first thing in the morning. I opened the bottle and put one in my hand and for some reason, this time I hesitated. I looked at that little pill, that really wasn't helping me anyway (actually heal the problem) and I said "this can't be good for me!" So I put the pill back in the bottle, and the bottle back into the pantry, and never needed to take another one again (that was five years ago). I didn't know it at the time, but I was taking a leap of faith!

We are Redeemed from the Curse of Sickness and Disease!

When my son came down with the flu, I started feeling wierd in my stomach, but definitely didn't want to get sick! So I immediately started professing, out loud, at least ten times per day (every time I thought about it) that "I have been redeemed from the curse of sickness and disease... I'm redeemed by the blood of Jesus! I'm redeemed from the curse of sickness and disease!" My husband caught on right away, as his stomach was weird at that point, too, and started saying the same thing. Although we felt the onset of the symptoms, we never came down with the flu. Why? Because we spoke the truth against the symptoms, and we truly have been redeemed by the work of the cross. Remember that next time you start coming down with symptoms, that they are only temporary, and we can do as the Lord did, and speak against it, rebuking the illness itself, just as Jesus spoke to the fever, by speaking the truth! We truly have been redeemed from all curses because He took them upon Himself! Thank You, Lord!

The Lord Healed My Right Kidney!

I have also felt the "heat of the Lord" on several occasions. The first time, I thought I had a bladder infection, and my mom kept telling me to go to the doctor. I refused, and responded each time with "no, the Lord is going to heal me". This went on for a few months, as the pain got worse, I continued to stand firm in my faith that the Lord would heal me. One day, while watching the 700 Club (cbn.com), I felt the heat of the Lord and didn't know what was going on. I was in bed with the remote control on my lap, and I picked up the remote, and it was cold, felt the top of the covers and underneith on my bare skin, and couldn't locate the heat. Then the story on the 700 Club captured my attention, so I was distracted with that for a fee moments when, again, the heat was overwhelming. I felt all around, just as I did before, and then I looked up and said "Lord, are you healing me?" At the end of the program, the lady on the 700 Club called out during prayer "that a young girl was healed of a malformed right kidney at the beginning of this program", and all I could do was cry and praise Him!

The Lord Healed My Ear!

Another time that I felt the heat of the Lord was after believing Him to heal my ear that had closed up from an infection. After I asked Him to take care of that for me (Lord, will you heal my ear?), I thanked Him each time I thought of it or what an inconvenience it was. Then, one evening my husband and I were watching television when he got up to use the wash room. I spread out on the couch, and placed my arm under the back of my neck on that side as I continued to watch the movie. Suddenly, I felt heat on my ear, and what a surprise! I felt the side of my arm, and then my ear, and then realized and said "Lord, are you healing me? Thank You, Lord, for your mercy and your love!" I immediately discovered that the television was turned up too loud, and when my husband returned, I was able to share with Him that the Lord visited me in his absence, so we could praise Him together!

He Knows Your Needs Before You Even Ask!

Here is proof that the Lord knows your needs before you even ask: After we moved into our new home a few years ago, my back was in so much pain I could hardly move, sit down or get up, and had difficulties getting in and out of bed. The night before the Lord healed me, our cable wasn't set up to watch the World Series, so my husband and I went to a restaurant down the street. I could hardly sit down to get freshened up to go, let alone sit in those hard chairs. The next morning, the Lord woke me up at 5:30 a.m., and all I could think about was all of the organizing that needed to be done in each room. I struggled with putting those thoughts out of my mind, until it was time, so I could focus on the Lord. I went back and forth, trying to focus on the Lord. The Lord knew this, and put one of my favorite praise songs in my mind, full blast (in the chorus part of the song) when suddenly, I felt the heat of the Lord on my lower back. Again, even though I had felt the heat of the Lord several times in the past, I just laid there and cried and thanked the Lord... "God, You are Soooo Awesome! You know my needs before I even ask! Thank You, Lord, I praise You for Your Goodness and Your Mercy," when the heat spread to the middle of my back, and then to my upper back and then into my neck, until my entire back was on fire with the heat of the Lord! I just cried and thanked Him for knowing my needs before I even asked. See, I got this honest, never complained, or asked the Lord to heal my back, but He knew how hard I was working!!!

Don't forget to ask!

Many times we don't even think to ask the Lord to do things for us, but remember that He knows our needs before we even ask... so He is waiting for us to ask Him to take care of it for us. Often-times I find myself talking to the Lord and saying "I don't know why I didn't even think to ask You before now" and, of course, when I ask Him to take care of it for me, whatever it is, He is faithful to take care of all of our needs... Large and small! I've heard people say that they don't want to bother the Lord with the little things, but He cares so much about us that He commands us to cast our cares upon Him because He doesn't want you to worry about anything! Plus, He wants you to see for yourself what He is capable of, so you will be so amazed that you will ask Him to take care of things in every area of your life. The Lord says many times in His Word that He wants to "give you the desires of your heart"... remember, all you have to do is ask!
