Since we are not in the same room together, but the Lord has instructed me to write this, it will be as though we are old friends sitting on the same couch together and talking. Now, we are talking about a prayer for healing.

What is a prayer for healing comprised of? Some people think praying "please heal my mother" is a prayer of healing. Asking the Lord to heal someone in your family or a friend is a wonderful thing, but how do you know whether they are in a position to receive their heaing? If it is you that needs a prayer for healing, then the question is do you have the faith to receive your healing?

There is no question as to whether or not the Lord will heal you or someone else that you are praying for. It is a question of faith. Even the strongest Christians who seemingly have the greatest faith in the Lord in everything else, compromise their faith when it comes to themself. So if you're praying for someone else to receive their healing, and think they are so close to the Lord and such a good Christian, that is not the making of faith as it relates to receiving. For some reason, many Christians have faith in God for everything else, but when it comes to themselves? They shut the door.

I don't know if it's because they don't think the Lord heals today as He did 2000 years ago, or if they want Him to heal others but when it comes down to themselves, they aren't sure. Why aren't they sure? How can they ask for Him to heal someone else but not themself? That is the true question, and as unfortunate as it is today, true believes do not necessarily believe everything the Word has to say -- as it relates to them, personally.

If it's someone else that needs a prayer for healing, it may be more difficult here other than praying that they will believe 100% so that they can receive. Maybe you can share this with them? Maybe it's too personal. BUT, if this person is you, and you need a prayer for healing, whether it's physical or the healing of a relationship, all your job to do is to believe. Just ask the Lord once.... and then believe and trust in Him every time you think of it.

Every time it comes to your mind, it could be Him reminding you, so don't take the risk of not doing what I am encouraging you to do here.... but every single time it comes to your mind? Thank the Lord for healing you. That's it. Just keep thanking Him, which will demonstrate your ongoing faith of expectancy, and tell Him you believe He heals today as He did when He walked this earth, and that He is your Lord, your Healer, and praise Him for healing you. That's the true prayer for healing.... and it comes from personal experience.
